I could really use some opinions here because im kinda stuck choosing between 2 doctors for my 2nd hair transplant.
Option 1 is Dr Gur (standard package, around 4300€). He recommended somewhere between 2500–3000 grafts, maybe more if donor allows. He is well known and recommended on this sub so thats def a big plus.
Option 2 is Dr Taner Karahan. He quoted me about 2850 grafts for 3000€ and that includes hotel. From what I understand he started being independent. I did see that he was banned from this sub before for astroturfing which honestly made me a bit skeptical at first… but lately I have been seeing some solid results from him here.
I also had a video consultation with him and he actually came across ethical and realistic. he wasnt overselling anything and talked a lot about long term expectations.
My main focus for this 2nd transplant is crown + mid scalp. Maybe also adding some small micro irregularities to the front to make it look a bit more natural.
So yeah... Go with the safer option (Gur) or take a chance on Karahan?
Would really appreciate any thoughts. especially from people who maybe had work done by either of them or looked into them.
