Personally I would suggest more opposite gender interactions...
Traditionally schools (mostly in India), always have a culture of segregating boys and girls.
Like different row for boys and girls in classroom, different moving lines, different dress code, even teachers seem to dislike a normal conversation between a boy and girl...
Also why traditional salwar-kurti dress code for girls but english pant-shirt dress code for boys??
I don't see a problem with girl wearing pant-shirt for school...?? (if there is any please do tell)
WHY SUCH MEASURES ARE NEEDED??
The idea isn’t that just talking to the opposite gender magically fixes everything but healthier, normal interaction during school years can help reduce harmful attitudes that sometimes contribute to sexual offences later.
When boys and girls grow up mostly separated, it’s easier to see the other gender as mysterious or different. Regular, respectful interaction makes people see each other as normal individuals.
If schools encourage discussions about personal space, respect, and consent in mixed settings, students learn what’s acceptable behavior and what’s not before adulthood.
Without interaction, people may rely on media or peer myths (like “boys should dominate” or “girls should tolerate”. Real interactions may challenge those ideas.
IF i want to add one more teaching practice, it would be sex education and demotivating the use of CORN by young kids to gain cheap dopamin.
