Hey Raiders,

Returning after a long break. Like a few of you, I'm a bit of a care bear raider, preferring the PvP and friendly elements of the game. I don't mind the PvP at all, I enjoy the spice it adds, but my break came from feeling like I was playing the game wrong from not engaging more with the PvP.

During the break, I have been playing a more PvP focused extraction shooter (M*******), and really enjoyed it. But after playing the hell out of it, it's time for a break and I've found myself gravitating back to Arc. In coming back, I thought I'd be ready for PvP, but have found that I still opt for a friendly and pacifist play style, simple because they are available.

I've simply embraced the fact that I prefer peaceful and friendly games to aggressive ones. I still think having PvP is great and adds an element of surprise and danger, but I tend to think the way I play is closer to Hitman - getting in and out without firing a shot is the ideal. It's making me consider all the tools and items at my disposal, and put them to use to avoid PvP or disengage from it.

I've found the lure & seeker grenades to be excellent and the white flag & instruments are hilarious. What other tools are useful for the pacifist play style?

Hey Raiders,

I'm coming back to AR after a long break. The game is just too damn good to stay away. I also felt out of place trying to avoid PvP - which I have nothing against as I think it adds some spice - but I've noticed that the games I'm coming into are a lot friendlier. Today I played a few games where everyone was chill and beachcombing, then I head to Blue Gate and get blasted while exploring the tunnels.

I read that there's "aggression" based matchmaking. Is that true and is there a way to help ensure I get into those lobbies?

I have a friend I play with occasionally, but he's very into the PvP, and I do my best to help out, but I'm usually focused on the Arc. Would his aggressive play style affect my matchmaking?

Thanks and good luck out there.
