Former bullies living great lives
A twist on the trope where bullies reap what they sowed, or at least grow to feel ashamed for their actions. Neither character feels bad or seems to really understand why the main characters are wary of them.
Psych - As a child, Shawn accidentally falsely accused his bully Jimmy of blowing a spitball that hit the teacher in the eye. Jimmy was expelled, and Shawn spent years feeling guilty, but Jimmy considered it the best thing to ever happen to him. He got to move to Hawaii with his dad who let him do whatever he wanted. In the end, Shawn and Gus watch as Jimmy and his girlfriend get into their convertible and drive off into the sunset.
Monk - Roderick, Monk's childhood bully, hires him as a PI because he thinks his wife is having an affair. Monk was excited about the chance to get comeuppance through giving Roderick bad news, but Roderick's wife Marilyn wasn't cheating. Her secret identical twin sister was running an elaborate plot to kill Marilyn and send Roderick to prison. In the end, Monk reluctantly solved the case and Roderick went back to his happy life.
