I have had multiple fibroadenomas since 2016, three lumps on the right breast and two on the left. My ultrasound in 2020 showed that they were still there.
Fast forward to February 2024, when I felt a lump on my right breast, but I completely forgot about it. By December 2024, I decided to have an ultrasound. It showed that the three lumps on my right were still there, and on my left, there were now 5 lumps, including the one I felt, which was the largest. The doctor advised me to just monitor them.
In December 2025, I had another ultrasound because I noticed that the larger lump on my left was getting bigger—from 1.3x0.6 cm to 2.1x0.9 cm in just 1 year. The concerning part was that there were also two new smaller lumps on my left breast,making it 7 lumps. The doctor suggested removing the largest one on my left if it continued to grow, so I waited another five months and observed that it was still increasing in size. Now, in May 2026, I decided to consult a surgeon to have it biopsied and possibly removed. The surgeon requested another ultrasound before the biopsy. I was shocked, after only five months, the larger lump on my right, which previously measured 2.1 × 0.9 cm, had grown to 2.3 × 1.3 cm. On top of that, there were also four new smaller lumps on my left, located near the largest lump. The doctor said these four are arranged in clusters near the bigger lump, bringing the total to 11 lumps. There were also two additional smaller lumps on my right, making it 5 lumps in total.
I’m really scared right now. Why did I develop these small lumps in just a few months? I’m panicking and worried that I will keep developing more. Has anyone experienced something like this?
