Greetings reddit, fairly knew to Reddit so please be generous lol and sorry in advance for the dumb questions in advance.
The wife and I housed an belgian malinois mix with a pit bull when he was 4 months. Currently he is 8 months going on 9. Paying to have him trained is not in out budget so I have resorted to obedience training him. The wife and I both work 9 to 5's so it has been a challenge trying to provide outlets for him as he is crate trained but am starting to see that he is getting a little bit more rambunctious. Wondering if anyone has experience this or if this is common as this is our first big dog. Currently working on leash pressure and walks but that has probably been my biggest struggle. Im here seeking ideas or help for him to give him outlets since I dont want my back yard to look like he is hunting gophers. He enjoys digging in my back yard lol. Photo for engagement.
