is there any hope for gland regeneration?

Im so depressed since i got diagnosed with MGD. I was wondering if there are any promising lines of research on this topic.

why is it so hard to get a complete meibography?

i just dont understand.
the first expert in dry eye told me that my dryness was normal
the second eye dry expert told me that i had MGD, but didnt do a meibography, saying that i didnt lose glands. I kept insisting and finally they did one just of one eyelid🤣and told me that i had grade 2

seriously, like i CANT UNDERSTAND. knowing how important is prevention.

first appointment

Tomorrow im having my first appointment with a dry eye expert. what are the tests that they should do on me?

i suspect i have moderate-severe MGD (my optometrist said 60% loss but without many symptoms) and mild blepharitis.

myopia surgery

Are there any myopia surgery options with a lower risk of dry eye? I've already seen that LASIK isn't a good option, but I was wondering if there's a better one.

Ive seen SMILE, PRK, ICL lenses...

Im a young woman with a long face and i hate it.

its something i developed during puberty. At first i didnt notice it, but then people started to point it out and mock me because of it and i started to be selfcouncious. plus, everytime i go to the hairdresser they have a very polite way of telling me that i have a very long face (no sir, i dont want bangs and a bob haircut).

Its even worse when people make posts about insecurities and they put models and actresses that have a “””long face”””” and its just a normal face. No, megan fox and bella hadid dont have a long face. the only person that is similar to me is Yasmeen Ghauri. But she has a wider maxillar i think.

I have pretty feautures: lips, nose, green eyes, symmetry….except for my face shape which is long and narrow. when i smile it seems normal, but thats the exception.

And i cant see myself pretty. also there is no surgeries for this that make a drastic change. its exhausting.

do you have makeups recommendation or cosmetic procedures that is not jawsurgery? (i wont get bangs or a bob haircut)

im 4months post-op from a bimaxillary and genioplasty surgery (Class II). and i feel like my face is longer (than before), more rectangle and masculine. i prefer my softer features from before.

i think it is the genioplasty that makes it look soo long. i hate my new chin.

did you have the same experience? how can i fix this?
