Description: League of Nations is a browser-based nation sim that is heavily focused on military management.
Most nation sims give you just a number of soldiers and tanks. In League of Nations, there are ~100 unique unit types, unit synergies, turn-based combat with a deep damage roll system, and equipment customization through loot crates. Units gain XP, level up, and keep equipment between battles.
You start with 50,000 people, a few farms, and a windmill. Tax your population, build factories, expand borders, exploit natural resources, and grow through 10 tiers up to 70 million people. Your starting continent determines which resources you can produce and which resources you are short on, but you can easily take advantage through the trading system.
Don't want to attack other players? Run peacekeeping missions against terrorists, take on world missions for big rewards, or compete in the weekly Military Training League where your units respawn after every fight. You don't need to worry about getting jumped, because plenty of alliances will be willing to take you in and fight alongside you.
There's something for everyone in this game. Prefer economics? Dominate the global market. Prefer collecting? There are event card sets to chase. The game rewards grinding, but smart diplomacy and resource management beat raw playtime.
Free to Play Status: League of Nations is completely free, with no ads and no pay-to-win. The optional subscription is only for cosmetics and minor QoL features.
Involvement: I'm a solo dev and we just relaunched a few days ago, meaning the world is fresh, the top players don't have a year-long head start, and now is the best time to join.
