I'm new to Linux and I'm having trouble launching Steam.
The first time I used it (Cachy OS), all my games wouldn't launch; they'd simply crash on startup (I think it was during 3D rendering, so I suspect it was either a problem with my graphics card or the drivers). After some minor issues with mirrors, I reinstalled Cachy and encountered the same problem. Basically, Steam would launch a couple of times and then simply stop launching; the window wouldn't even open. I tried a few things, including watching a YouTube video and uploading some logs to Google, but nothing worked. I tried reinstalling drivers to older versions (sometimes it crashed the entire system), and I installed Ubuntu, 26.04, and 24.04, but ultimately the problem was the same.

It might be the video card, as it's a pretty old GTX 1050 to be precise. I'll try to update it and the entire build soon, but I haven't saved it all up yet.

It was the same on every os i used (if not count running steam on.)
