Hey I currently in the process of upgrading my build that I bought a long time ago. I have about 500USD budget and am looking to get better performance mainly for video editing but also for some gaming.

I'm also wondering if I should even bother upgrading or if I should save some more and get onto AM5/DDR5 instead? Anyway, here are my current specs:

CPU: Ryzen 5 3600
GPU: 1660 Super
RAM: 16GB (2*8GB) 3200Mhz CL16
SATA SSD: 1TB 540Mb/s
Motherboard: Gigabyte B450M DS3H (I hate this motherboard because of lack of USB 3.2 ports and no Wi-Fi)

Hey,

I currently have 16GB (2*8GB) 3200Mhz DDR4 RAM and I am looking to upgrade to 32GB. Can I buy different 16GB (2*8GB) RAM kit and use it? The RAM kit I have is no longer available in my area (or isn't in production anymore) and I found a good local deal.

Also: If I can't mix different kits then I found a decent deal on 32GB (2*16) RAM but its 2400MHz. So for video editing and some gaming), is it better to have slower 32GB or faster 16GM of RAM?

I would really appreciate any help you can provide!
