This game is criminally underrated.

After seeing all the hype around Saros, I decided to give this game a go through PS+ extra before buying it and I'm loving it so far, can't believe I had never heard of it or the studio before Saros released.

I've just spent the last two hours playing it, and just beat Phrike on my first run (Not counting the intro death), and this is the exact kind of game I was looking for, love the "bullet hell", fast paced fights and the game looks, sounds and feels amazing.

Should I try Returnal first?

I've been looking at trailers of Saros and think it looks great but I don't know if I'm willing to spend €80 on a genre I've never played before.

The only other Roguelike I've played is Deadcells and I loved it but don't think it's a fair comparison. However, Returnal is a part of PS+ Extra now, so would it be worth it to upgrade to Extra for €16 for the next 111 days and play Returnal first before pulling the trigger on Saros?
