So, i got this one just under a year ago. Looked after it the best I could but got super depressed for a while and got really lax with it. There's white skin around the exit points, followed by some red and then normal skin. The middle doesn't hurt much to the touch, but family is worried it's rejecting/infected. I really don't want to take it out. The bar is the one the piercing came with, I was meant to change it to a shorter/smaller one but lost that one. Is it just a lack of care/wrong bar size? Thanks for any help! :)

[Edit] thank you, everyone, for the advice! I have now taken it out. You're right as much I didnt want to hear it haha. Fingers crossed it'll heal nicely. :)
