Irritating when people don’t take the problem seriously
My sister found a bug on her bed at her place and got a ton of bites. She said she found nothing else so she’s been going over to my parents’ place without taking any precautions and leaving her luggage etc all over the place. My parents also believe that since they haven’t seen a bug, they’re in the clear.
I keep telling both her and my parents that they have to be more careful because bedbugs don’t just waltz over and wave at you. Nobody is taking me seriously though and even mock me when I put my stuff in bags when I go over. They briefly looked around the bed and that’s it. I’ve had bedbugs before and it was not a fun time. I’m getting super annoyed at this.
How do you deal with someone who doesn’t listen and is ignorant about how pesky these critters are? I really don’t know what else to say to them at this point.
