Facing a strange issue with OpenAI API billing from India. Manual top ups work fine but auto recharge keeps failing across cards.

On HDFC, I get an error saying the merchant is “non compliant on e mandate”.
Kotak also keeps failing for recurring payments.

This seems related to RBI recurring international payment rules but I am curious what setup is working reliably for others.

Would love to know -

• Which cards are working for OpenAI API auto recharge?
• Any banks consistently supporting recurring USD SaaS/API payments?
• Anyone using Wise or virtual cards successfully?
• Are most people just doing manual top ups instead?

Trying to avoid production interruptions because of failed billing retries.

Been tracking AI citation sources across B2B SaaS categories for a few months now.

What we are seeing in our tracking is that the cross-platform overlap is nearly nothing - Perplexity cites Reddit heavily for many B2B queries, Gemini cites brand-owned websites and ChatGPT favors high domain authority sources and review platforms like G2.

Which means the question "how do I optimize for AI search" has three different answers depending on which engine your buyers actually use and most content strategies we see are built for one engine and assumed to transfer.

Curious whether others are seeing the same divergence or whether a single unified approach that considers all AI modesl as same is actually working in certain categories.
