Hey there.Noticed one a week ago, one a few days ago, and three yesterday.

Been deep-cleaning, using diatomaceous earth + spray. While spraying my mattress (and loathing the fact that I'm poisoning myself) I found the only visible little best of 20 or 30 or so, all clung in one corner of the mattress seam.

So, I am hoping this was the extent of them- the source of the problem, and when I say they were on the seam of the mattress I mean on the zip-on fabric covering of the mattress, which I unzipped and immediately removed to the dumpster outside

The inner mattress itself looks perfectly clean and I am hoping since it was a small nest and just on the covering that I can try to save the nice king-sized mattress itself.(I am not rich and it's a nice peace of furniture I can't replace right now easily).

My plan was to vacuum it, spray it, and zip on a new waterproof covering, to protect me from the evil spray.

Is this realistic? If I notice more I would trash the whole thing but can I cross my fingers and try to save it? Or is this crazy and I have to absolutely trash it?

Thanks! 🙏
