Just finished Barbarian and how does this have a 92% on Rotten Tomatoes? The entire movie runs on characters making the dumbest decisions imaginable. Tess hears weird noises in a creepy basement and decides to go deeper into the tunnels. Keith goes to check it out and keeps going deeper. And the plot holes are insane — nobody in the neighborhood noticed anything for decades? An entire tunnel system nobody ever found? Am I crazy or did everyone just overrate this because Justin Long was supposedly funny in it? Everywhere I read described it as incredibly scary. I got none of that at all. Sitting through a full “horror” movie with no scares, it’s just a waste of time.
