I need to get this out because I’m really upset.

My teacher in Argentina is very sick. He needs surgery, but he can’t afford it, and now his health got worse and he is hospitalized.

The worst part is that he has been working like 14 hours a day even while being sick, and he still doesn’t have enough money for basic things like food. Some of us, his students, have been helping him with food when we can.

It makes me so angry because he is a good person and a good teacher. He helped a lot of students who felt stupid or lost with math. He wrote books and made a method where he explains everything step by step, without skipping the parts that teachers usually think are “obvious”.

And now he is in the hospital, still worrying about money, when he should only be worrying about getting better.

I know people on Reddit are skeptical, and I get it. I’m not trying to pressure anyone. I just feel powerless and angry seeing someone who worked so hard end up like this.

No teacher should have to depend on students bringing him food or strangers caring enough to notice.
