Is it Christ-like to block people you disagree with?

I’ve been thinking about something and wanted to hear other Christians’ perspectives. Is it Christ-like to constantly block everyone you disagree with online especially fellow believers instead of talking things through peacefully and agreeing to disagree?

There’s a hostile user on here who is a believer who regularly posts strong opinions but then immediately blocks people who respectfully disagree or ask questions. It made me wonder where the balance is between protecting your peace and being unwilling to engage with other believers.

Jesus interacted with people who challenged Him constantly, and the apostles also reasoned with people patiently, even when criticized. At the same time, I understand there are toxic arguments that go nowhere.

Where do you think Christians should draw the line?

I was reading about trees mentioned in the Bible and realized there are more of them than I expected, and many seem to carry deeper symbolic meaning.

A few that stood out to me were the olive tree, the fig tree, the cedar of Lebanon, and acacia. Each one seems to connect not only to the natural world, but also to themes like peace, strength, blessing, judgment, endurance, and worship.

I’m curious which one stands out the most to you, and why.

Do you see any of these trees as especially important in the biblical narrative or symbolism?
