Chances as a Canadian applicant

Hi all, I just wanted some advice/opinions if possible. I'm currently a Canadian student, I applied this cycle to a few Canadian schools but only got into my bottom choice school. Notably though, I am on a few waitlists. I previously wasn't sure if I wanted to apply to American schools but I've done a bit more research and I also think it might be nice to study and live abroad.

My CGPA is bringing me down for Canadian applications as the Ontario platform uses a different method for calculation than LSAC. My GPA would theoretically go from 3.1 to 3.5 with LSAC calculations. I also have a reason for the low gpa; I had some physical health issues for two years during my undergrad, and I have medical documentation for all of it. From my last two years after having gotten better, I have a 4.2 GPA.

I currently have a 170 LSAT, but I'm pretty confident that if I retake it I could get a better score. I know that you're not supposed to assume these things, but I only studied casually for about a month and got there from a mid-150s diagnostic.

I also know people say this a lot (and I understand it may change) but I'm really interested in big law. I've had a pretty busy lifestyle; I've worked full time throughout undergrad with a full courseload and usually also did volunteering and extracurriculars, and I genuinely love being so busy. I'm not sure where my softs would fall, but my full-time job is at a large international company and I hold a fairly high managerial position. I also work on a part-time basis at a law firm (last summer and this one); the firm is very hands-on and they let me handle a lot of things myself, it's not just assistant work.

I know that international applicants have a harder time getting into US schools, but I was wondering if you guys could please provide some insight on my chances at a T20 school, or even if you recommend applying at all. I've been lurking on this forum and I see things have gotten a lot more competitive, and I wouldn't want to throw away my current acceptance if there was no point. Thank you all for your time!

Anyone else somehow more stressed than March/April?

I've heard back from a few schools and am on three waitlists, I feel like I'm checking portals so much more often now. I used to check once every few days but now it feels like an update could come any second; it didn't feel like that before. Also, not receiving emails at the same time as an update (or at all, re:Oz) makes me feel like I always need to be checking.

I thought it would get better as time goes but somehow I feel more stressed than I did before? Anyone else in the same boat?
