Hey yall,
I’m 25 y/o and 220/5’9. In August 2025, I started working out again (just basketball runs, 3-4 times a week) and started to take my diet more seriously. It was the first time I did physical activity in 7 years. I was 262, so I have lost a total of 42 lbs.
In high school I touched rim a few times(never grabbed) but just never took it seriously. I am currently slapping the backboard with most of my hand but I’m a ways away from getting back to even just touching the rim it feels like.
I literally just started lifted weights again this week and definitely feel it lol, but what are my chances of actually dunking and any suggestions on how to achieve this goal?
