Hi other Denver Gardeners!!

We finally are combatting the terrible xeriscaping at our house and adding a vegetable garden 🙏 I’m excited to have some green around here.

We planted these trough beds and some pots on Friday and I have visions of peppers and tomatoes and cucumbers dancing in my head.

However, it’s Monday and the plants in the troughs are already looking a bit crispy. We are watering by hose and I’m likely going to add some straw, but anything on the right side does get FULL Sun. I’m wondering if I need to add a shade cloth, particularly while things are at this baby stage?

Not sure if I’m being a helicopter parent 🤨
