Every year their babies fall out of the nest and die.

A couple years ago I accidentally stepped on one and it broke my heart and, today I had to bury another one and clean up its blood. I feel so sad for them and I’m wondering if there’s a way to stop them from falling without touching the nests?

Like could I put a net up to catch them or would that do more harm than good?
