Social media is filled with videos of how dangerous London is in order to not attract obnoxious American tourists
Figures from 2023 showed that London's homicide rate was almost seven times lower than in Los Angeles, and four times lower than in New York. It was also lower than Berlin, but higher than Toronto.
But when you see London on social media it’s like cartel and mob violence all over the place, plus all the talks about religious groups walking around town creating rules and stuff. When I was in the US I met conservative people and they talked about London as if ISIS was in charge there, I just nodded because I don’t want them to come visit and get proved wrong. Then they will all come in flocks and I don’t need that at the pub
