So, when I first started Endgame in BO7, I immediately got my operator to Combat Level 60, to make the Genesis mastery camo easier. Upon doing so, I of course maxed out all of my skills (not knowing they were rng & you could also choose different ones for another operator) including the Tactician skill which gives you a chance for live grenades & equipment to spawn.

Grinding critical kills has been an absolute nightmare with this skill since it takes out waves of hordes, so painfully slow. Then it occurred to me that this can’t be the fastest method, surely. I just thought all skills stuck & didn’t have the effort to max out another operator. So I dug a little deeper & noticed the prompt to completely reset a skill. Jesus Christ, I cannot believe I haven’t noticed this until now. Completely changed my Endgame build & operator so now I have Eagle Eye, Bulldozer & Gunner. So much more enjoyable with a lot more damage & health.

I feel a huge breath of fresh air already. I understand it’s obviously on me & it’s so incredibly dumb, but I thought I’d share my story 🤣 don’t be like me. Onwards towards Genesis.

I absolutely love Returnal, it’s the game I always go back to if I am in need of a palette cleanser. Unforgiving and frustrating but yet so addictive.

One of the single biggest things I love about Returnal is the sound design. Everything sounds so real. Bassy gun shots & explosions, movement including every jump/traversal & dash has so much impact. One of the best sounding games on PS5.

Now I’m not great at these games by any means, I really struggled with Returnal and did end up uninstalling multiple times. But when I gave it another chance & the game clicked, I couldn’t put it down. After seeing the reviews, how incredibly gorgeous the game looks, the difficulty/modifiers, it was an instant day one. I’m so ready to spend my hours dying over & over. Get ready.
