Does she like me?
For context, me (17m) and my crush (18f) are in our second last year of high school and I feel like she has been giving me small signs that she likes me.
It started a around a month and a half ago, when she asked me to teach her and a friend piano. I didn't really think much of it, as it was with a friend, so I went along.
So we have our first piano lesson, and it goes great, we get to talk a lot. One thing that I noticed is that she was improving far faster than her friend, but that could be due to a range of things.
Furthermore, 2/4 of the piano lessons we have had so far, the friend has been absent. This gave us a lot of alone time, allowing us to talk and joke together. During these lessons she seems very open to conversation. Another thing I noticed is that on the way to the piano lessons, she chooses to speak with me about our day, rather than her friend.
Later on, I was talking with her and a few other people about an up coming oral exam we had for school. Our teacher had put out a schedule with everyone's time, and for some reason, she memorized when my time slot was. There was another instance where I met her while walking into the school and we spoke for a while. She was constantly developing the conversation, like asking questions and stuff, as if she didn't want it to end. At one point, she mentioned some discussions i had with my friends, which I never told her. Im not sure how she found out about it, but the key thing is that she remembered it.
A few other key things that I noted about my crush is that she always laughs extra at my jokes, more than others. She seems extra engaged in conversations with me than other people. When we text she always uses emojis and adds extra letters (like "yess" or "funn"). I often feel like she is staring at me. We also smile to each other when we see each other in the hallways.
I honestly can't tell if I am over analysing things, but it feels like she has some degree of interest in me and I can't stop thinking about it.
