My brother has this disorder, and Forrest reminds me so much of him. It is where you are an XXY male. What really stuck out to me was him saying how exhausted he is from just having a regular 40 hour per week job. My brother has never been able to handle that. He gets so incredibly exhausted. One of the features is larger than average stature. Emotional immaturity is a big one. My brother depends on my mom in the same way that Forrest seems to depend on his… I wonder if his autism diagnosis is a misdiagnosis. If it were Kleinfelter, having his hormones checked, might help him a lot. My brother. Had virtually no circulating testosterone when he was originally diagnosed. This wasn’t until his 30s. Getting on the testosterone shots made a world of difference in his mood and exhaustion levels, etc. It’s not a cure per se, but it really helped.

I also love how all of the cast members want to help them. They are adorable and I hope he just gets away from his toxic mother.

Oops! I mean to fix the spelling of his name in the title, but posted too soon!

So I bulk fermented for 12 hours with little to no rise. The dough is sticky. I tried to shape it just to see and it does not hold shape very well. Can I do anything with this? Will it work for something like pizza crust? I wrapped it in plastic and threw it in the fridge for now.

I’m not sure what happened to my last post, but I am rewriting it!

I’m finally pretty happy with one! It looks a little dark, but I think it tastes good!

450g Bread Flour

150g Whole Wheat Flour

420g Water room temp

120g Active Starter

12g Sea Salt

10g Water to mix and dissolve some salt

Mix water and starter, then add flours

Cover and then let it rest for 60min.

Add Salt to 10g of water and stir, then add it to the mix with your hands.

Three stretch and folds 30 minutes apart.

Bulk Fermentation -my kitchen was only about 68° so I bulk fermented for around 10 hours. It didn’t double, but rose at least 25%. It was bubbly and jiggly on top.

Shaped it and put it in a floured banneton covered with plastic wrap in the fridge for two days. (ended up going out of town unexpectedly.)

Preheated oven with Dutch oven inside to 475°

Turned oven down to 450, scored, then baked in a covered Dutch oven for 20 minutes, then uncovered for 25 min.

  1. Cooled for an hour and a half on a wire rack before slicing.

I would love to hear any critiques and tips for improvement!

My grandma is 93 and her only real source of entertainment is audiobooks. She goes through them very quickly and I’m running out of good ones to recommend. She likes John Grisham type books. My ideal one would be something very engaging but also long. She also liked the older James Patterson‘s but doesn’t like the ones he writes with other people. She also struggles with understanding British accents in narrators. Any suggestions?
