I’m running a Sonos setup with an Arc Ultra, Sub Gen 4, two Era 300s as surrounds, and two Era 100s as front speakers using SonosSequencer.
I’m facing a real dilemma when it comes to stereo content, which is still the most common source here in France.
With the new Apple TV 4K “continuous audio” feature enabled, I only get stereo sound through the front Era 100s. When I disable it, the audio plays through all speakers, like an expanded stereo that also uses the Era 300s and the Arc Ultra.
Pure stereo through the Era 100s sounds more precise and clearer to me. However, with the feature disabled, the sound fills the room much better.
I’m honestly struggling to make a decision, as both options have their pros and cons.
For those with a similar setup, what did you choose?
