Here’s my situation- I used to weight train every day mixed in with some cardio and was in the best shape of my life until I got pregnant. And I honestly let myself go with my first pregnancy. The exhaustion during my first trimester took over & I did not have the energy and it spiraled down from there. My daughter is now 2 years old and I am about 15-20 pounds over my ideal healthy weight. My gut is not healthy & I’m wanting to get back into shape. But surprise - I’m now 6 weeks pregnant again. I just wanted to know if it is possible to shed unnecessary excess fat while being pregnant and to get in better shape while pregnant. I don’t want to let myself go even worse and want to get ahold of it now. On top of having a 2 year old, my husband is a firefighter and is away from home a lot and I also work full time, so my free time to exercise is limited but I want to make it work. Any advice or help with workouts, nutrition, etc is welcome!!! If anyone could get me in touch with a trainer who has experience with pregnant women in my situation that would be awesome!!
