So I’ve always loved stand up comedy. When my dad started me with Eddie Izzard “Dress to Kill” when I was 7. Since then I’ve been hooked.

Because of this obsession I’ve always wanted to do open mics but the problem was never with audiences and crowds, but actually writing good material. I currently do film work and do comedically write a lot, stand-up specifically writing never really came to me. All of that in mind I was wondering if anyone really had any advice on actually coming up with ideas for material and finding inspiration?
