I’m a 36-year-old man and my wife is 33. We have a 5-year-old daughter. We work in Bangalore and have a combined annual CTC of ₹2.5 crore (base salary, bonus, and RSUs).

We have a liquid net worth of approximately ₹12.5 crore (stocks, mutual funds, and gold) and ₹2.5 crore worth of real estate in our hometowns.

Our goal is to achieve financial independence (fatfire) in 9 years and eventually transition into partial consulting or advisory roles.

Currently, our annual expenses amount to around ₹2 lakh per month, including travel and our daughter’s tuition. We also pay an additional ₹60,000 in rent. We plan to buy a house, which would cost us approximately ₹5 crore. We intend to pay off this mortgage in 9 years before retiring.

I want to set aside ₹2.5 crore (equivalent to ₹1 crore in stocks and gold today) for my daughter’s education and marriage.

Given my preference to invest my money primarily in the Nifty 500 and Nasdaq 100, what would be a reasonable fatfire target? I would like to allocate about 50-50 to each index.
