I made some improvements to the LED light-up ring I've been working on. Last one was wireless powered - here
This one has whole different build method, as well as can be powered from two SR416SW batteries. And most importantly, its true nature is revealed by fire...
This one is built by first making an epoxy mold and then cold casting with gold mica filled epoxy around the clear text/PCBA component.
Improvements to be made for next iteration- Improve casting, figure out how to mount/insert the two batteries, reduce LED brightness by a factor of 2 to 4, improve masking around the text.
