I’ve never done a doll review before but I bought 3 of the Transform Electrical Street series dolls recently and had a lot of thoughts. I am very happy with the designs but the quality lacks in a lot of different ways. First of all minutes after I opened the pink cat girl doll her stringing came undone and she began to fall apart. I had never had this happen to another doll, luckily KikaGoods customer service was very kind and sent a replacement body as I’m unsure how to re string(i definitely plan to). I’m aware dolls are kept loosely strung in order to avoid damage while shipping but these doll were super loose. The thighs won’t stay in no matter what you do.
I also found that the clothes had very uneven and sloppy Velcro on them that you couldn’t line up. The clothes also frayed very easily. The worst part may be the head pieces which only can be put on via balance or barely sticky putty. All of mine are on the verge from falling off and Barry stay on because of this. The faces and hair are all good. I loved the designs and the base dolls minus the less than favorable body.
I hope that the next series that’s been shown can improve the issues with the body and quality. Honestly I love the designs so much I would have been okay with them adding $10-$20 more to the price if it meant higher quality control. My verdict is only buy them if you really really love the designs. Id like to see the brand improve. Thank you for reading!
