I have a 2011 Toyota Prius (ZVW30, 3rd gen pre-facelift), and I’m thinking about upgrading to the Series 2 / facelift headlights that come with the LED strip (the newer style).

Before I buy anything, I want to confirm a few things from people who have real experience:

Do the Series 2 (facelift) headlights fit directly on a 2011 Prius without major modification?
Will the mounting points and body lines match, or do I need to modify brackets/fenders/bumper?
If rewiring is needed, what exactly has to be changed (connectors, pinout, relays, etc.)?
Will I get any dashboard errors or issues with the hybrid system or lighting system?
Do I need additional parts (like ballast, control modules, adapters)?
Has anyone here done this swap themselves? If yes, what tools and steps are required?
Roughly how difficult is it for a beginner (basic tools, no professional experience)?

I’d really appreciate photos, part numbers, or any detailed advice before I go ahead and buy the headlights.
