I read somewhere that unit 01 was a clone of one of those Adams that appeared in the second impact however Lillith has those ripped out legs. But then during the near third impact Unit 01 appears to have gained a halo, got wings and have 3 eyes and became a giant of light! Just like those Adams? Thats what has been bugging me and the fact that the group that Gendo always voice chats with say that they want mark 06 and don't care about unit 01 and that mark 06 is actually one of those adams seems like mark 06 was a better Adam. Even though to cause an impact you need to do the forbidden union of an Adam based unit and a lillith based thing.
