Hey everyone,

I have a few questions and would really appreciate advice from people who have gone through a similar path.

I have a GPA of around 1.5, my English is good, and I’m planning to apply for a Bachelor’s degree in Germany. I’m more interested in Fachhochschule (FH) programs rather than traditional universities, since I prefer a more practical approach. My main interests are Computer Science or Mechatronics.

I previously studied at a research-oriented university and have passed several technical subjects, including:

Algebra

Fundamentals of Electrical Engineering (Kirchhoff’s laws, circuit analysis)

Electromagnetism and Field Theory in Electrical Engineering

Electronic Circuits (Analog and Digital Electronics)

C Programming

Mechanics (Statics)

Machine Elements

Mechanics 1 and 2

I really like programs like OTH Computer Science and similar FH courses.

My questions are: What should I study? Does anyone have recommendations for programs (CS or Mechatronics) in Germany taught in English, since there are many options and I’m not sure which direction to choose?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated
