my battery is basically dead and I used a jump starter to start the mower. The problem is the blades stop after a little bit of cutting and to get them on again takes time. So what I’m asking is do riding mowers need the battery to engage the blade and keep it going? The mower I’m using is a tb30.

I was told by a farmer in the area to mix a lot of coconut oil with water to keep ticks and mosquitoes away while I mow my lawn. So I’m wondering if it would be safe to spray my dogs like 1-2 times a week. fyi I’m also going to use the tick treatment once monthly as a main protection.
