I got this a few years ago on my thigh, inspired by the second photo. It’s about the size of my palm. I still love the theme of a solid black bird with water color wings but I feel like the line work on the silhouette isn't great and it just isn't as striking as it was in the photo. I think it looks a little chintzy. I'd like to better define the body and head, expand the wings, and make it into a generic bird rather than specifically a hummingbird. A lot of people can’t really tell what’s going on when they first look at it. I'm considering adding some branches with water color flowers or leaves. Maybe adding the sun behind it? I’m not sure but I feel like it’s missing something
