Mr12Volt built-in DSP any good?
I have a 2011 BMW F11 and bought this "Mr12Volt" block that accepts Bluetooth and integrates into the original OEM screen/controls, including optical audio ?pass-through? through BMW's MOST optical cables, it sounds fantastic, especially compared to the OEM bluetooth connection which barely worked, that + integrated android auto is really nice to have.
I see it advertises a 15-band DSP EQ, but the signal is going out into the factory amp through the fiber anyway, which I imagine scrambles the EQ and has it's own filtering regardless?
Wanted to ask what are the chances that this DSP is good-enough, and if someone is familiar with these, whether it's entirely overriding the factory OEM EQ, or is it just modifying the EQ on top of the applied OEM Head Unit EQ?
I had moved an apm+sub from another car of mine to this one previously, but it sounded god-awful when taking the high-level input spliced from the factory amp wires going to the factory under-seat subs, it wasn't adding sound and instead just vibrated unpleasantly.
Any chance this DSP could help me correct that if I combined it with something like an LC2i PRO to filter the signal out of the factory amp?
