Runs completely fine for the first year or so, no major rivals update comes out to my knowledge and then one random day my frames start lagging as hell.

I recently wanted to max out my framrate and in the process i did the complete opposite, I tried lowering all the settings to keep my frames much higher at the same time I installed a config to remove unncessary texture as well as a bp sound dash. I started to get massive frame drops so then I removed all of the new stuff, and still experience bad frame drops. The drops occure on any major action, loading into a map, map loading itself, loading into a game, portals, to many ults, anything majror sets up a spike. I will even spike for no reason. I am sure I didn't install a virus or something of the sort because I downloaded from trusted places but even if I did the only game to experience this is marvel rivals, fortnite runs fine, seige, anything of the sort it runs fine. Please guide me on this thank you.
