Hello, everyone. Little background I work at a seasonal place and when I was reinstated I explicitly told my manager that I could not work on this specific weekend and I wrote it down on my availability sheet and he didn’t have a problem with it. I also put it in on our schedule portal and he approved it. However, my manager suddenly remembered that there is a time off blackout and now less than a week before my day off he declined it. I tried texting him about it and he hasn’t responded yet. I gave him more than two months notice, it’s unpaid, and my job is just a manual labor one and doesn’t require any special skills so it’s not something someone else can’t do. So does anyone have any advice on how I should navigate this.
