Older Dimension One spa. Just trying to get another year or two out of it. Just started leaking from this hole where the wire comes through. Had a local spa guy tell me that's the temperature sensor and just seal it with silicone
I did that but can't get it to fully seal because of the wire sticking out. Can I just remove the whole thing as it would be much easier to fully seal the hole. My question is can I just remove the whole temperature sensor? Before I sealed it I pulled on it a little and the whole sensor came out and it started leaking much faster.
I stuck it back in and the leak slowed but the silicone really isn't sealing it fully around the wire.
Is it even connected to anything as it appears to be cut already and my temperature seems to read fine. Can I just remove the whole thing to fully seal the hole? Any help would be greatly appreciated
