Old San Juan / Vieques
Hi all! Planning a fam trip to PR and 1st time for everyone. Adult daughters are in college and we are looking during the last week of December through the first week of January. Is it going to be nuts that time of year?
Am thinking 4 nights in Old San Juan and then 6 nights on Vieques. Is this a good amount of time?
Im worried about the reliability of the ferry service on the return, if we leave first thing in the morning I just want to make sure we get back in time to make flights etc. should we plan to spend our last night in Old San Juan just to be safe?
How far out can we reserve ferry tickets?
Lastly, I know the car rentals on the island can be crazy. Ive seen some house rentals that come with a vehicle, has anyone had experience with this?
