Hey everyone,

I’ve been playing The Long Dark for quite a while now, and one thing I keep thinking about is how interesting it would be to see more variety in wildlife.

I was wondering — are there any mods out there (released or in development) that add new animals or expand wildlife variety?

Even small additions like different species, regional variations, or new interactions would make exploration feel even more immersive.

If you know of any projects, modders working on something like this, or even discussions around it, I’d really appreciate it if you could point me in the right direction.
