Adhd medication?

Hi all,

F/32, I recently got my diagnosis.

I'm getting some psychoeducation now to better learn about my mood, mental capacity, etc, but I am wondering whether I should look into getting ADHD medication or not.

I am ok with my life as it currently is, and never took medication or other drugs to "get to where I am", but some days are absolute hell for me, where I cannot bring myself to do anything, or simply can't focus.

I am also scared that it would change my personality?

Does anyone have experience with this?

Are you taking medication or not? Why or why not?

I'm leaning towards not taking it, but just want to hear someone else's experience :)

Maybe someone has some experience with this.

I dislocated my hip in September and am still recovering from it.

Nothing was found in the MRI, x-ray, and Cat scan but I'm still having pain and limited range of motion.

I can't walk without pain for more than 5 minutes with one crutch, and have ended up going back to two crutches at my orthopedist's advice, to see if my hip "calms down"...

I'm getting really frustrated with this and am wondering if there's something I should look into?

The only thing I've found so far with my physiotherapist is that my illiopsoas is tight and I'm doing exercises for that and to strengthen my side and back muscles. I also get an audible clicking when I'm lowering my leg or if I try to open my leg in butterfly pose.
