Western painted Hatchling help

Hey everyone, I recently came into the possession of a hatchling western painted turtle. To make an uninteresting story short, I’m fairly certain I found him a few hours after hatching and getting hauled off by some sort of predator since he was at least a mile from any water source and still had what looked like egg-goo on him.

The plan ATM is to get him big enough that he’s not so easily gobbled up.

It’s been about 3 days since I got him home in a 20gal tub with heat and a water filter, and he’s not eaten yet.

Any advice I can get on keeping him healthy and safe is greatly appreciated.
