I don't understand the hype so much with the Huscarls, I get it their strong and will admit absolutely OP in the sea but on Land I've been giving the nords a run for their money. Legionaires can go pretty toe to toe with huscarls especially with the maces. But...what does the pilum do exactly. Does it peirce through the shield? Does it do extra damage to shields with like a hidden "+20% Damage to shields" because I HAVE broken shields with enough numbers, like I've bad 30 Legionaires fighting khuzaits and their shields got deleted but when I throw them I did like..50 damage? For such a massive throwable weapon it's damage is odd.
