Item Misdelivery
Hello all,
I will keep it brief, an item I ordered stated it was delivered 4/22, however I didn’t receive it. I harassed USPS and finally got an email stating unequivocally the item was sent to the wrong address and they couldn’t recover it.
I file an INR (which was denied since the tracking said it was delivered), so I appealed with the email. They again denied it.
At this point, I’m becoming very frustrated. I am still conversing with customer service for eBay who suggests reaching out to the seller to “humbly” ask them to submit a claim and give me my money back. However, I am guessing they only have the basic insurance of $100 so they’d lose out on $100 since the package is only worth $200.
What’s the right move here? It’s not my fault, it’s not his fault. I feel like eBay should just refund me and be done with it, but they aren’t seeming to want to do that.
