Hello everyone! So currently an opportunity had risen for me to obtain a 2013 Subaru Brz. My main question is should I go through and buy it? Or should I not?
Some Background:
I am a 21 year old in college. I plan for it to replace my current daily driver. And I am importing a 2001 Toyota Altezza this year. I would be buying this from a distant family member. It has around 39k miles and exterior and interior look great. According to the Subaru website it has already fixed the valve spring recall. They want 13k and my parents accepted to pay half. I do have some money saved up for maintenance. I am versed in basic maintenance due to my ownership of my Altezza for 4 years, but not well versed in Subaru's. I do however have friends that are well versed in them, one drives a built '03 Wrx and one has a '02 Baja. I do not plan on extensively modding it. Just some basic things like maybe UEL headers, coilovers, and wheels.
