Tongue split risks on speech/voice
Heya, Im REALLY thinking about having my tongue split but I work as a voice actor, I am definitely able to have an entire year to recover and train but... anything that has to do with the mouth is kinda scary for the work. So I have some questions about what to expect and to know any unexpected thing that could happen:
- With enough work/training do you recover 100% of your speech?
- How much time does usually take to recover the speech?
- Does it affect to the voice in any way (after recovering + training)
- Any "common" problems that could happen (ex: any complications like infections) that could harm my speech permanently?
- I live in europe so I can go to the hospital in the worst case scenario. Is there anything special that i have to have in mind/communicate to them if I need to go?
