Message limit
I’ve literally done the most basic of research so I might not fully understand but according to Chai sources, in 2025 they said they said they said they serve 1.2 trillion tokens per day. I’ve done the math on this and if 2 million people use the app for 4 hours on end while having the most immersed conversations, that would still only use 400 billion of those tokens, only a third of the daily maximum. It would take 6 million users talking for hours on end every day to use all of the tokens. I find it hard to believe that they need to limit “free users” because of costs right now, especially since they basically doubled their profits since the day those numbers came out. It wasn’t a big deal being a monthly subscriber because 14 dollars a month really wasn’t bad at all but paying double for weekly is just not worth it in my eyes for a chat bot app 😭
